Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is also set to play a pivotal role in the new series. The two characters have a history together and their intense dynamic is sure to elevate the narrative of the show. With production currently underway, a new set video shows Punisher supposedly killing off a new addition to the MCU.

The upcoming Daredevil: Born Again is currently shooting after a creative overhaul where new directors and a showrunner were added to the show. Various characters that were initially excluded from the show including Elden Henson’s Foggy, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen, and Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye are now part of the show along with a drastic shift in its narrative.

Jon Bernthal was already set to reprise his role as Punisher and now he has started shooting his parts in the series. A new set video uploaded by user @PunisherFanatic (via X) has been circulated on social media where the character (or someone posing as the Punisher) is seen hiding in the shadows. A character that resembles The White Tiger is seen walking and Punisher sneaks up behind him and shoots him point blank.

The clip ends with Punisher quietly leaving the scene. While many fans were quick to point out that White Tiger is seemingly killed in that clip, it may not be the case. Marvel would never let that level of information be leaked in this way. This may be a red herring and it must be something else entirely. It remains to be seen whether the speculations turn out to be true when the show hits Disney+ next year.
