Following his first MCU appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been looking forward to Charlie Cox’s return in his solo series, Daredevil: Born Again. And the anticipation only grew with news of other original Daredevil actors like Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Jon Bernthal reprising their roles in the upcoming MCU series. So far, Cox has donned the Daredevil suit in multiple MCU projects, including She-Hulk and Echo.
However, the crime-fighting hero is debuting a new look for his standalone MCU series, which has been revealed in the on-set photos. While fans seemed to love Daredevil’s new look, the iconic Daredevil logo remains notably absent.
Fans Intrigued by Charlie Cox’s New Look For Daredevil: Born Again
Actor Charlie Cox is set to reprise his role as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, in the upcoming MCU series. As the filming continues on the New York set of Daredevil: Born Again, fans have been treated to glimpses of Cox’s new costume in on-set photos released by Just Jared.
The suit, revealed in the pictures, bears quite the resemblance to the superhero’s comic book appearance, featuring a vibrant red color with structured black lining and a larger chest plate. Fans are intrigued with the new look as they shared, “OMG these MCU suits are really blowing my mind.”
While some fans express excitement over the fresh interpretation of the costume, there is a notable absence of a major detail—the Daredevil logo, depicted with ‘DD’ in the comics. However, some fans remain hopeful as they speculated that the suit seen in the set photos might not be the only one worn by the superhero in the series.
At this point, this is the only Marvel series i'm looking forward to watching. Happy Deborah and Elden are back. They better stay alive on the series or imma riot!

Between the markers and missing horn, it’s looks like he gets a bunch of damage to this suit in his first fight with Bullseye. If we’re assuming this is all for the pilot I guess the rumor’s true we’ll be seeing more than just this one suit throughout this show

I love this shade of red they are using, same goes for the deadpool costume, brighter colors are so cool

While that could be a possibility, it has also highlighted the major issue about the absence of the iconic Daredevil logo that has been prevalent since the Netflix adaptation of Marvel’s Daredevil that first premiered back in 2015.
Charlie Cox’s Suit is Still Missing the Daredevil Logo
The Daredevil costume portrayed in Marvel comics comprises a vibrant red bodysuit with a form-fitting design and a mask featuring horn-like protrusions to conceal his identity while leaving his lower face exposed.
The costume is completed with matching red gloves and boots, along with a utility belt containing various crime-fighting gadgets. The superhero’s comic look also features the Daredevil logo ‘DD’ across the chest, a major detail that has been missing since Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the character.
While the Charlie Cox starrer has been received very well, fans have pointed out certain issues with the titular hero’s costume, from its deep red or maroon color to the missing logo in the suit. Fans have been demanding the makers bring the original costume incorporated with the logo since the 2015 series.
However, considering the new look that has been revealed, it seems the makers have overlooked these significant details despite a creative overhaul. Yet, as speculated by fans, there could be a possibility that this might not be the only suit worn by the Man Without Fear in the upcoming series.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to be released in 2025.
