Charlie Cox, who portrays Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, is soon returning with new adventures in the Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born AgainAs the production for the series continues, he is seen wearing his new Daredevil costume on the streets of Brooklyn, New York which appears to be quite minimalistic than the one he wore in the Daredevil series.

The suit, as seen in the photo shared by Just Jared (via @DDevilUpdates on X), is almost red with structured black lining but boasts a brighter red color which resembles the comics.

While this new look is making fans quite excited about the series, it is still missing the ‘DD’ logo on his chest which is present in the character’s costume in the comics. This has left fans disappointed who expressed their opinions on X.

All the set pictures are available on the Just Jared.com site. While the missing double D is surely disappointing for fans, it could probably be a prototype which would mean there is still room for improvement. Nevertheless, the suit has surely met with a positive response for making it close to the comics.

Not just Cox, but several other characters are making their comeback in the upcoming series. Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin in Hawkeye is making his return to the show.

While the show hit a restart, Marvel decided to make the Marvel universe on Netflix to become MCU canon. Speaking of the changes, D’Onofrio told The Hollywood Reporter, he shared,

“I think it is. During our restart of all the creative on Daredevil: Born Again, all the creatives got together and said, ‘Look, this is how we’ve got to do it now.’ So we are for sure only speaking about it in terms of being directly connected to the original Daredevil, and that’s a great thing.”

He continued,

“It brings in a lot of cool stories and all the collateral story that happened in those original three seasons. So we now get to start this Born Again situation with all of that history behind us and the outcome of all that history. So we’re all talking about Daredevil: Born Again in those terms now.”

Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson who appeared alongside Cox in the Daredevil series to play Murdock’s trusted colleagues, Karen Page and Foggy Nelson are also making their return in the new show.

Not just that, Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter/Bullseye and Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher are returning to add more dynamic to the show. Sandrine Holt has stepped in to play the role of Vanessa Fisk, whom Ayelet Zurer initially portrayed in the Netflix series.

All three seasons of Daredevil are available on Disney+.
