Marvel Fans Were Worried

When production of Daredevil: Born Again began, there were more than a handful of rumors that were suggesting that the show would not be as good as fans hoped it to be. One of the biggest challenges for the series was to meet the high standards that the Netflix series set for itself and judging by these whispers, the new show was not even close.

The firing of writers and crew members left and right, and Marvel’s track record with shows at the time did not help their case. While Loki and Moon Knight were excellent shows, unfortunately, there were far more projects that left fans disappointed.

Charlie Cox Never Lost Faith

While all of these factors played a huge role in making fans extremely nervous about how Daredevil: Born Again would be, it seemed that Charlie Cox had complete faith in the franchise. The actor spoke with Comicbook.com around the time the news of the show was announced and revealed some interesting details about his feelings towards Marvel.

“I’m such a fan of everything they’ve done so far, I wouldn’t underestimate them at all,” said Charlie Cox.

Despite having his show canceled by Netflix and waiting years to get a callback from the franchise, Cox is perfectly content coming back and trusting Marvel again. The actor knew what he was getting into when he joined the cast of the upcoming series.
