Unfortunately, it does not look like the sequel is off to the best start as it is already facing criticism from the fans for a few reasons. In other news, the sub-par poster is not the only thing that has upset the fans. Unimpressive CGI and the absence of the O.G. cast, especially Will Ferrell, has left fans disappointed. Voice actor Keith Ferguson has taken over the titular character in the sequel.

Some even compared the artwork to that of Paw Patrol the Mighty Movie, which says a lot. Take a look at what the fans of the movie had to say about it all:

A sequel to Megamind had always been on the minds of fans who loved seeing Ferrell play the alien back in 2010. However, looking at everything that has been going wrong for the film, Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate has a lot to prove for its own sake.

Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate will be released on March 01, 2024, only on Peacock.
