What has been shown in the gameplay trailer?

During the nearly 20-minute gameplay trailer that we received for Lords Of The Fallen, we see a lot of interesting gameplay mechanics, locations and combat, which looks like it will be enjoyable to play whilst also being difficult, just like a Soulsbourne should be.

First, let’s talk about the gameplay mechanics that will be coming with Lords Of The Fallen; they will be bringing in a split dimension mechanic, which looks rather fun as players can battle through two different worlds depending on certain circumstances. Players will start in the world of the living, which is known as Axiom, and will be able to battle throughout the game in that world. Still, when a player dies, it isn’t the end, as players will be revived in the realm of the dead, which is known as Umbral, giving them the opportunity to bring back their defeat and live to the fight another day.

This isn’t the only time that Umbral will be effective in the world of Lords Of The Fallen, as players will be able to view into the Umbral world whilst they are exploring in Axiom to see locations that are only available in Umbral, and if necessary, they can sacrifice their life so that they can transport to Umbral and traverse these locations, but if this is done you will be down to one life and players will have to survive till you return to a rest point.

Throughout the game world, there are numerous locations that gamers will be able to access in their playthrough of Lords Of The Fallen, and so far, we have seen three of them that all are unique in their way. We do not know if there will be more locations coming with the full release of the game, but we can only hope that there are, as the three locations that we have seen so far look rather interesting, with a shanty town built into a cliff, a burning village and a castle.

From what we have been shown in regards to the combat, there are going to be a lot of weapons to choose from. Still, we are also being granted the opportunity to be able to use extra combat items like magic, throwable weapons and even ranged weapons like a bow and arrow. This will give players a lot of diversity when they play through Lords Of The Fallen as they are able to try out new builds and play styles during their time in the world of Lords Of The Fallen.

What will the bosses be like in Lords Of The Fallen?

Lords Of The Fallen Releases New Deep Dive Trailer

During the gameplay trailer we received, we gained some information in regards to bosses that will be in Lords Of The Fallen and from the two that we saw, this game is going to be very difficult, and it’s given gamers a lot of hype as we all love a challenge. So far, just like players, bosses will also always have two lives in a sense, as they will always have 2 phases and will grow stronger when entering these phases, giving players a whole new challenge when playing.

The two bosses we were shown during this gameplay trailer were quite formidable in their own right, and we are rather excited to battle them as we were shown a knight who is capable of using magic in their attacks, and once taken to their second phase, they also grow wings, begin to fly and even summon copies of themselves dealing a lot of damage and creating numerous area of effect attacks. The second boss we are shown is a colossus. He is corrupted, and due to this, they are a large and formidable enemy to fight, as you can only attack their feet and hands until they cover the floor with lava and cause the players to find higher ground.

So far, from the gameplay trailer, there has been a lot of positive feedback from players who are looking forward to Lords Of The Fallen, and we hope to get our hands on it soon! Let us know in the comments if you are looking forward to Lords Of The Fallen!
