Mark Ruffalo’s portrayal of the Hulk has won accolades for emotional nuance and depth ever since it debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, do you remember his intense fight scene against Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in the 2012 Avengers movie? The God of Mischief is tough to match for the majority of the other Avengers, but the Hulk gave him a serious fight. He even goes so far as to refer to Loki as a “puny god” before giving him a severe beating.
Marvel fans are not going to forget this scene anytime soon and Loki will not forget it either. But now that Hiddleston is back for a second season in the critically acclaimed series Loki, fans believe he seems to have taken the Hulk’s “puny god” remark a little too seriously. This has certainly made Ruffalo’s Hulk a laughing stock.
