In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tom Hiddleston discussed in detail some of the behind-the-scenes details of the iconic Loki and Hulk fight scene. His explanation of how the famous Loki Hulk smash scene was actually filmed makes the scene’s final cinematic adaptation even funnier. Read his explanation of how that scene was filmed below.
“I had a piece of wire tied to my ankle and there was a mat on the floor, which was out of shot, and three of the strongest stunt guys holding the wire at the end behind the camera. The experience being yanked out of frame was one I will not forget in a hurry…For about two years after that, I couldn’t go through airports anywhere in the world without somebody kind of going, ‘Hey, Mr. Loki, I love it when you get Hulk smashed.’ It became a bit of a thing in a fun way.”
Michael Waldron’s Loki is set post-event in Avengers: Endgame (2019). The series made its debut on June 9, 2021. As part of Phase Four of the MCU, its first season aired for six episodes and ended on July 14. A second season consisting of six episodes was part of Phase Five, and it ran from October 5, 2023, to November 9, 2023.
