The success of a major Hollywood star comes from the films and the subsequent recognition that they get when their projects hit the heights of success. This, in turn, means more opportunities and more monetary compensation as a result. Mark Wahlberg has been living the good life in this regard since he has been both critically and commercially successful in the Hollywood industry.

And since he has surpassed expectations with his talented and exemplary performances in his films, he decided to diversify into things unrelated to the film business to see how far he could go, which was the reason why his fast food chain Wahlburgers was opened. However, due to recent complications, it seems like that endeavor is slowly on the fall.

Known for being part of some of the most commercially successful films in recent years. actor Mark Wahlberg had also stepped outside his area of expertise to start a new fast-food company named Wahlburgers, which has already become pretty popular in the United States after many of its stories opened up nationwide. In the past year, the restaurant has gone international with one of its stores opening up in Sydney as the star partnered up with Sam Muscata, who is also the co-owner of Australia’s cinema chain United Cinemas.

But the past couple of months have been troublesome for the franchise to say the least, since in the year 2022, Mustaca found himself coming under fire for assaulting one of the employees, who was a bartender named Jaun-Paul Kalman in a Wahlburgers’ restaurant in Circular Quay store in March. It was reported that the CEO was visiting the store after surveying one of his United Cinema franchises near Opera Quay.

Charges against him were filed in Downing Centre Local Court in November, and Mustaca has pleaded not guilty in the fiasco, stating that he was the victim in this scenario and that he wishes to defend himself no matter the cost. This, in turn, has downed the reputation of Wahlberg’s franchise in the eyes of the public even further.

If this PR nightmare wasn’t enough for the star to handle, Wahlburgers is facing yet another major problem, and that is related to the food they serve. In the United States, the burgers from this hamburger joint have gotten the reputation of being some of the worst-tasting burgers ever in comparison to the competition. Online reviews and influencers alike have called it some of the worst burgers that have had.

Therefore, with so many problems to deal with, it seems like if action isn’t taken swiftly, then the franchise can sink down for good.
