She was talking to Drew Barrymore on her talk show and also offered some pointers to the Blended actress in the dating department.
Martha Stewart married Andrew Stewart in 1961, and they divorced in 1990. She dated actor Anthony Hopkins briefly before breaking up with him due to his role as Hannibal Lecter. Her on-and-off relationship with billionaire Charles Simonyi lasted 15 years until 2008.

Martha Stewart made a guest appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday, where she revealed some intimate details about her dating life. Their discussion revolved around “nappers” when Drew Barrymore revealed her struggles to find a nice date. Barrymore revealed that her dating life is a hot mess and that she couldn’t find a man who “knocks her off her socks”.
Stewart humorously mentioned that she met a stranger last week who swept her off her feet. When the 50 First Dates actress pressed for more details on Stewart’s date, she revealed that the somewhat inappropriate date lasted one night. When Barrymore and the audience began teasing her, Stewart clarified that nothing happened except a little harmless flirtation. Stewart shared on The Drew Barrymore Show:
“I got knocked out of my socks last week by somebody. I mean, he’s very attractive. […] It wasn’t exactly appropriate, but it was good for a night. Nothing happened, nothing happened. We didn’t go home together or anything, but it was just like a little flirtation. It’s nice.”

She got divorced from her third husband, Will Kopelman, in 2016. The Charlie’s Angels actress is the mother of two daughters, both with Kopelman.

Jealous of Martha Stewart’s active dating life, Drew Barrymore sought advice in this area from the home and hospitality expert. Stewart inquired why the E.T. actress was not meeting any guys. When asked where she went at night, Barrymore responded that she always preferred staying at home. Stewart further added that her friends should be setting her up with matches, to which Barrymore responds, “No I’m not living that life, Martha!”
Stewart advised the Scream actress to start going out to dinners and parties. However, she also revealed that she find her dates by herself without the help of her friends. Stewart shared:
“Your friends have to be sitting you next to eligible young men. Well, you better start. You have a lot of friends and they should be inviting you to eat. They didn’t do that for me either, by the way, I had to do it myself.”
Barrymore also revealed another boring aspect of her life, stating that she prefers to order in rather than eat out at fancy restaurants. She also described food as the only hedonistic thing she has in her life at this point.
