Marvel Has More Than 6 Infinity Stones- Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Avengers Would Have Faced a Nightmare Villain Had MCU Introduced Ego Stone in Avengers

A great number of villains have been introduced within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some were extremely successful while others became a hit and a miss from going up against the Avengers to just a single superhero like Iron Man. The range of villains is one that fans most definitely fawn over. From Thanos to Taskmaster, there have been both good and bad villains.

There are some villains, however, that even a team as strong as the Avengers was not ready for. When it came to gathering all six infinity stones, both Thanos and the Avengers were devoid of one important information, there was another stone. The seventh infinity stone, if gathered, could have given birth to something no one was ready for.

Marvel’s Hidden Gem

The origin of the six infinity stones was not something that was necessarily explained within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What was explained was how much power each stone actually held. Although most fans would know of only six stones, a seventh one exists. The power stone, the soul stone, the mind stone, the space stone, the time stone, the reality stone, and the ego stone. The ego stone came into being much like every other infinity stone did. Coming from the omnipotent being Nemesis, the infinity stones were the scattered fragments of her powers.

Although every other stone made it into one single universe, the ego stone landed in a completely alternate universe altogether. The ego stone is especially powerful because the coming together of all seven stones can have the power to bring Nemesis back to life. The stone is perhaps the most powerful of all of them. The Avengers would have faced a horribly difficult time if it came into the picture. Not only that, but their problem would not have been the gathering of the stones but its aftermath.

Nemesis Would Not Be Their Only Problem

The ego stone has another factor that the Avengers would have had to consider. Unlike every other stone that benefited them and gave them powers, the seventh stone would not have done that. The ego stone is said to keep the sentient mind of Nemesis, allowing her partial control over whoever may be in possession of it. If not Nemesis as their enemy, the Avengers could have been in major trouble if one of their own turned against them.

Not only that, but then they would have had to face the power of the infinity stone, the consciousness within the Avenger as well as the possessed Avenger’s powers. Fighting Thanos might have been a piece of cake as compared to dealing with the seventh infinity stone.
