Marvel has been going through a rough period for some time now. From low box office numbers, weak CGI in movies, and the firing of Jonathan Majors, nothing has gone their way. When Jonathan Majors was tapped in to succeed Thanos as the Big Bad of the MCU, the studio had ambitious plans with Kang the Conqueror. But the casting turned out to be unfortunate when Majors was found guilty of third-degree assault and harassment to his former girlfriend. This led all the plans of Avengers: Kang Dynasty and its future to fall flat.

But now, according to a trusted insider, the Kevin Feige fortress might have devised a plan to introduce Beyonder as the new Big Baddie in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Marvel took its time to slowly build up the lore of Infinity Stone in the entire Infinity Saga before finally introducing Thanos as the primary Big Bad in the concluding Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. They also tried something similar with Kang the Conqueror. They planned multiple Kang variants appearing throughout the Multiverse Saga before their ultimate culmination in the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

After Jonathan Majors was fired, it was presently unsure about how the studio would move forward in the Multiverse Saga. But recently, a trusted scooper MyTimeToShineHello has reported that Beyonder would be the new main villain of Secret Wars, which will be their excuse to recast Kang.

It is not the first time the Beyonder rumors have been raised. Earlier, the same scooper revealed that Beyonder would be the main foe of the Avengers in Secret Wars. It was also reported that Marvel would show Beyonder as a Kang variant in the MCU. Although we have to take the rumor with a grain of salt, it does look like an amazing plan to get out of the whole Jonathan Majors matter.

Beyonder formed one of the key characters in both Secret Wars and Secret Wars II. He was the main villain in both and formed the Battleworld and pitched a series of superheroes and supervillains to fight against each other. In the comics, he is shown as one of the most powerful omnipotent beings, existing beyond the bounds of the Multiverse in the “Beyond-Realm.”

In the second Star Wars, Beyonder decided to walk among humans and study more about human desire. Eventually, a series of events forces him on a quest to destroy the multiverse and then go against several superheroes of Earth. Although we haven’t gotten any hint of Beyonder yet in the MCU, Marvel can go on this path through their remaining projects.

It is to be noted that the scooper had a good track record in the past. It will be seen if he also gets successful this time. On top of it, the fans would also be excited to see which star is tapped in for the role, which would surely be pivotal in the conclusion of The Multiverse Saga. It is also reported that Avengers: Secret Wars would be a double-feature following the untitled Avengers 5.
