Marvel Studios has been through a lot this past year with arguably the worst span in its history in regard to commercial and critical performance of their major motion pictures, not to mention, the entire fiasco with Jonathan Majors’ legal case. But as they say, the show must go on, which is why the company seeks to leave this in the past and work towards a better future.

With Majors now being relieved of his duties as Kang the Conqueror from the franchise, the question was who would be the new face of the big bad of the MCU. Learning from this example of not to put off of your eggs in the same basket, it seems like the franchise is planning to keep each variant of Kang a separate individual star instead of all of them having the same faces.

Unfortunately, difficult circumstances did not appear announced, which Marvel Studios felt deeply when Jonathan Majors was proven to be guilty in the domestic abuse lawsuit against him from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari late last year, which prompted Marvel Studios to fire the star immediately from his role as Kang the Conqueror from the MCU, leaving a gaping hole for the position of the next big supervillain in the franchise.

As it stands today, the company is trying to find a replacement for the star who will be featured in the coming MCU projects as the villain. The most impactful news of them all seems to stem from the announcement made by Marvel Studios, which details the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, which almost confirms that it will feature Rama-Tut, one of the variants of Kang, as the main villain of the film.

Therefore, with Kang also being the main antagonist of the upcoming film, the company has seemingly planned to bring this variant into play, but the change is the face of the villain, which will not be Majors.

Rumors suggest that all the variants of Kang, including Rama-Tut going forward will be played by different stars from the industry to ensure that even if a problem like the Creed star arises, they can continue forward without any major hiccups.

Since it has already been confirmed that variants don’t necessarily have to look the same, switching Majors for a different star as the main Kang will not be a problem.
