The ever-evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe is always in the news with its future projects. One such project is the Fantastic Four film. The movie has been highly anticipated for a while now. It will mark the return of Marvel’s first family, with Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal, and Ebony Moss-Bachrach in lead roles.
As of late, the film has been a hot topic due to one particular rumor. Word is that Henry Cavill might just debut in the MCU as the infamous supervillain Doctor Doom. The recent addition to this news has only taken up a notch.
Marvel Reportedly Wants A Supervillain Line-Up For Fantastic Four

However, Marvel seems to be going big with this film and probably plans on having multiple villains. As reported by scooper Daniel Ritchman (@DanielRPK) on X, Marvel is looking to cast two more villains for the film. Who these villains might be has not been mentioned.

While the news promises a lot of exciting prospects for the fans, it is to be taken with a grain of salt (or spice if you will).
Is Henry Cavill Finally Joining The MCU Through Fantastic Four?
Nothing of this sort has been confirmed by any official announcements from Marvel Studios or Kevin Fiege. But this bandwagon of rumor started with the infamous scooper MyTimeToShineHello on X saying Henry Cavill is now a part of the MCU.

This took fans by surprise and there was a wave of shocked tweets. The insider did not comment on what character the Man of Steel star would be playing. But after some good guesses in her comments, she posted a cryptic tweet saying most guesses are wrong and only a few got it right. The consensus seems to be on Doctor Doom.
It must be noted that this is not the first time the rumor of Cavill joining the MCU has made headlines. At one point, it was widely believed that The Witcher actor is set to play Hyperion in Loki Season Two. The actor had debunked this himself later on.
The same could be the fate of these new rumors that have emerged in the past few days. Should that be the case, fans will surely be left disappointed. Hence, everything is to be taken with a grain of salt.
