A piece of terrible news from tinsel town confirms that Marvel star Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58. Famous for his roles in movies like Thor, Rome, and Punisher, the actor was all set to reprise his role as the antagonist Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka.

Not only that, but the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School alum also recently signed the deal for the historical 1242: Gateway to the West, a drama where he was expected to play a Hungarian Priest defying Genghis Khan and his Mongolian army after replacing Kevin Spacey. However, his sudden death has inevitably put it on hold.

Ray Stevenson’s family confirms his death

The recent update came from The Wrap when a representative of Ray Stevenson’s family spoke with the outlet to confirm the news. However, no further details have yet been disclosed. The news is especially shocking as the Vikings star was not known to have any prior illnesses.

His fans and well-wishers all across the world are obviously heartbroken with the news as such a consistent performer both in the Television and Movie industry is quite rare.

His recurring performances in some of the most popular TV series like The Walking Dead, Dexter, Black Sails, Vikings, and a myriad of Star Wars animated series have made him a household name.

And rightfully so, as his performance in his first big break on the big screen, playing a Gigolo against Helena Bonham Carter in The Theory of Flight, who got tasked with the job of helping the Harry Potter star’s character lose her v***inity, astounded the audience and critics alike.

Ray Stevenson recently made his Indian cinema debut

After taking Hollywood by storm, Ray Stevenson also recently made his Indian cinema debut. Playing Scott Buxton, the main antagonist, trying to take control of the innocent Indians in S.S. Rajamouli’s Oscar-winning movie RRR, he shocked the fans with yet another spectacular villainous role in his bag.

His last completed movie was known to be Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday. As a result, after Ahsoka‘s airing later this summer, it seems the Marvel star’s eventful journey in Hollywood has ended. This news also took a toll on his fans, as just last month one of his MCU colleagues, Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx was also admitted to the hospital after allegedly suffering a stroke.

And while everyone remained in suspense regarding the reason behind that, a recent interview with Mike Tyson shed light on it. Thankfully, although the actor is out of the hospital now, he is allegedly not doing too well going by Tyson’s words.

According to rumors, the actor suffered a brain injury from the stroke, and as such when he will be fully back on his feet is hard to say.
