From its inception, the MCU has cultivated an atmosphere of secrecy. They go to great lengths to protect the spoilers for their films, and it is one of the reasons why their films are so eagerly anticipated by fans.
However, according to the book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, only two actors got the full script for Avengers: Infinity War: Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America). But are they the only actors to get to read the script?

Recently released book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, written by Joanna Robinson, Dave Gonzales, and Gavin Edwards says that only two actors got the full script for Avengers: Infinity War, Iron Man’s Robert Downey Jr. and Captain America’s Chris Evans.
During an interview on Good Morning America, Chris Evans said:
“They let me read it, but you gotta get fussy. The level of secrecy has only increased over the years, so worried about leaks. So, you have kind of put your foot down and say, ‘Give me the script.’ …I took one home. You’re not supposed to, but I took one home. This is actually going to get me in trouble.‘”
Earlier, Joe Russo said on Rotten Tomatoes, “RDJ was probably the only one to read the entire script” and added that Chris Evans might have read the whole thing.
Marvel Studios might felt that they were the most trustworthy actors, or that they needed to know the full story in order to give their best performances.
Benedict Cumberbatch also Claimed to have Read the Full Script, But Is It True?
Benedict Cumberbatch has once revealed that he was one of the few people allowed to read the entire script for Avengers: Infinity War.
He told The Independent, “I was allowed to read the whole script so I do know what is happening, but I can’t tell you about it.”
However, Joe Russo said that he thinks Cumberbatch “got the scripts that included his scenes only.” So, did Benedict Cumberbatch lie about reading the full script? Not sure enough.
