Well, it’s none other than Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, who amazed fans to such an extent that Marvel was forced to change their plans regarding his appearance. After his stint in the Disney+ series Loki, Majors is reportedly said to reign MCU’s Phase 6, as the next major villain of the franchise. But the embattled actor who’s playing a villain in movies is apparently a hero in real life.
Marvel’s Kang the Conqueror Is A Hero Is Reality
Rising to popularity as Marvel’s Kang the Conqueror, Jonathan Majors shook the entire fandom with his phenomenal performance. However, prior to his inception, Josh Brolin‘s character Thanos appeared as the biggest MCU villain in The Avengers movies. But, currently with the rise of Kang, Thanos’ position seems to be at grave risk.
While Kang the Conqueror is pacing toward becoming MCU’s greatest villain, Jonathan Majors proves to be a hero in reality. The actor apparently made headlines for swooping in and stopping a high school fight between two girls. In West Hollywood, Majors stopped two girls from scratching their eyes out in front of a fast food chain.
Although Jonathan Majors is not sure what sparked the incident, the actor clarified that he stepped in as he simply wanted to make sure that no one got hurt in the scuffle. According to TMZ reports, Majors is hoping that the two girls are alright, and he also shared some cool and simple pieces of advice.
Jonathan Majors Might Reign MCU As The Biggest Villain
After making such praiseworthy headlines, Jonathan Majors seems to be doing well, not just in his personal life, but also in his career. The MCU actor is reportedly said to be reigning the Marvel Studios, following his stint in the Disney series Loki. Delivering a splendid performance, the actor baffled the Studios, which made them change their entire plan for the actor.
According to Joanna Robinson, who is currently working on the upcoming book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, Majors is the hot topic in MCU. During her appearance in The Ringer’s The Big Picture podcast, Robinson shared how Marvel decided to put Majors in the center, following his work in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
“I was told by someone who works for Marvel, it was not the plan to make Kang the center of everything until they saw the dailies from ‘Quantumania’ and after his performance in ‘Loki,’ which was so strong they were like, ‘This is it. This is our way forward. We’ve lost our varsity hero team, but let’s set up around this guy Kang and this performer that so many people are reacting to.”
After losing a few of the popular stars like Robert Downey Jr., Marvel is thus trying to regain its fanbase. And witnessing the positive reviews from fans over Kang the Conqueror, as well as the actor’s potential, the studios thus planned to turn Majors’ character into one of the greatest MCU villains of all time.
