Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been a massive success with its host of new features, such as the near-instant switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, amazing narrative, traversal mechanics, and a horde of suits for both Spider-Men. The game features over 70 suits for players to unlock or purchase, and the number technically goes above 200 with all the different color variants.
The suits have been inspired by Spider-Man comics and movies over the years, and some were originally designed by Insomniac Games. However, despite a large number of amazing suits in the game, players are riled over a Miles Morales suit and have coined it “the worst ever” in Spider-Man games.
Fans Hate Miles Morales’ New Suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
There are several suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and some are story-driven, as both the Spideys change the suits as the story progresses. However, one suit by Miles Morales hasn’t gone down well with the fans, and they haven’t been shy about sharing their opinions on the “Worst Spider-Man Suit.”
The suit appears after Venom attempts to bring Peter into the Symbiote hive mind; however, he is saved by Miles and Mr. Negative, who rip out the last tendrils of Venom. However, this gives Peter some of Mr. Negative’s powers, and he turns against Venom. Soon, Miles Morales appears, and his new suit is called “a Miles Morales original.”
The suit here referred to is the Evolved suit, and it looks like it has evolved too much. The suit features a hood, and the mask that usually covers the whole head is cut off, and now Miles’ hair is visible. Miles is also sporting white Adidas sneakers. Fans can’t seem to understand why the developers went with this suit, and while it is a bold move, players think developers went too far with it.
Fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the new suit, and they didn’t hold back. Several fans showed their displeasure with the suit and added that the whole secret identity thing is completely thrown out of the park with the visible hair. The suit’s different color palettes have impressed some, while others don’t like the garish blue lines. An X user, SteveRogers1943, said:
I know everybody has their favorite suit, but for the sake of Miles’ future as Spider-Man I think we need to unite against this one.
Some Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 fans hated everything about the suit and added that the Spider logo is the only good thing here. A Reddit user, mastadonson, said, “Normal mask, no shoes, better colors, and hood up. Basically, change everything, the spider logo is the only element I like here.”
Another Redditor added, “Those shoes and the big blue lines on his legs and his hair coming out to ruin it, Miles needs to get bullied at a normal school this what happens when your kid goes to Brooklyn Visions.”
Fans on X added, “Full mask would have made this suit better. I low-key don’t mind. I was also sorta hoping he would put on the hoodie.” Another user, molympusprince, stated, “I like the third one more. The blue actually looks good there as the webbing. Make it a full mask and basically, he’s Insomniac’s Ghost Spider [Spider-Gwen].”

Other fans also had similar opinions, as one stated that if the developers ditched the wack shoes and gave Miles a proper mask, it would be a banger of a suit. Some accused Adidas of paying Insomniac to make a suit with its logo, which is canon to the story.
Although many like the Miles suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, despite the hate, the majority of the fans are not satisfied with this.
