When Do You Face Kraven In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
In a near-death experience with Symbiote Spider-Man, Kraven is back still looking for his most worthy opponent. After Peter was able to get the symbiote off thanks to Miles, he decided it was time to work with Dr. Connors and return it to Oscorp Tower.
When Peter arrives, he meets a very sick Harry looking to get his suit back. Despite Peter’s best efforts, the symbiote breaks out of its casing and fuses with Harry. Embodying Venom, you will now play as the symbiote titan to escape Oscorp Tower. The level has you learn the ropes as Venom and his different abilities such as grabbing enemies with the R1 button.
You feel powerful as you run through doors, slam enemies, and parry ranged attacks with L1 or the circle button. When the Hunter helicopter starts shooting, hide behind the pillars because you will die eating all the bullets. When you land, you must defeat one last horde of Hunters before facing off against Kraven. Then, it’s showtime.
How To Beat Kraven In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Kraven is in for his final hoorah against Venom. At this point, you’ve only been playing as Venom for less than 10 minutes. Start off by mashing the square button at Kraven with your raw power. Remember to press L1 + square to perform a slam attack to throw Kraven off his feet. You can also press L1 + circle to perform Rage. After taking some damage, Kraven will cloak and disappear.
When Kraven returns, get ready to parry with L1 as he attacks you. Occasionally, Kraven throws a concussion grenade on the ground. Quickly press L1 + R1 to throw it at Kraven, briefly stunning him. If the grenade goes off near you, you’ll take damage and it dazes your screen for a moment.
You cannot grab Kraven during this fight, so don’t bother trying to press R1 on him. Kraven will also slam his shield to the ground, dazing your screen. Shortly after, Kraven will throw missiles at you. Press circle or L1 to parry the projectiles to toss them back at Kraven. You can press the triangle button to leap towards Kraven, closing the gap if you’re far away.
Kraven does have two phases but it’s very similar to the first. Continue parrying, dodging, and throwing grenades to get closer to beating Kraven.
The fight against Kraven as Venom should be fairly easy as long as you counter his attacks. Despite Venom’s insane strength, he cannot use brute force to get through Kraven. How to beat Kraven is all about parrying his basic attacks and the missiles. Throw any concussion grenades off the field to avoid damage or daze Kraven for a moment.
