Now, in an unexpected collaboration with a popular Real Madrid soccer player, the Insomniac Games title will receive a new exclusive suit. Miles will be able to wear a suit inspired by Brazil, and the popular player Vini Jr. had a lot to do with it. This is also not the first time that this kind of collaboration has happened.

After two well-received games inspired by this popular Marvel superhero, Insomniac Games continues the franchise with a direct sequel to the first title. Released in October 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 showcased the evolution of this saga, featuring even more refined mechanics and a wide range of action in a universe.

In the game, the popular web-slinger Peter Parker faced several popular villains with the assistance of second Spidey, Miles Morales. In the recent months, the studio has supported the game by providing a lot of free content. With the arrival of a new wave of free suits, the company took the opportunity to present an unexpected collaboration.

Vini or Vincius, a popular forward from one of the world’s most well-known soccer clubs, inspired one of Miles Morales’ suits. This Brazilian star, who plays for Real Madrid, was one of the inspirations for this new suit, as the developer has revealed.

One of the most well-known characteristics of this second Spider-Man, who is the successor to Peter Parker, is that his mother has Latin roots. This is a way for the studio to represent Latin America and Latinos in general in this popular title, which is exclusive to PlayStation and PC.

Not long ago, the developers behind this game also added the new game+ mode, which players had been asking for a while. This is not the first time a soccer player has collaborated on a popular title. In the past, other stars of the sport, like Neymar Jr or Messi, appeared in titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty.

It is increasingly common for a popular star from any field, whether a musician, actor, or otherwise, to appear in video games in a large or small collaboration. This type of marketing strategy works well for both the studios and the famous people themselves. The studio has not yet revealed what its next project will be.

Leaks occurred not long ago from Marvel’s Wolverine, one of the games the company is working on. However, with such an impeccable reputation, this studio could also be working on another IP that has not yet been confirmed. Fans are eagerly waiting for the mutant game, among other possibilities from this company, which is part of PlayStation Studios.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
