Minato’s early life as a ninja and his relationship with his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, is the focus of the one-shot. Minato is seen training with his genin team, and we learn more about how he created the Rasengan. Minato’s role in taming the Kurama within Kushina is further explored in this one-shot.
This one-shot manga not only revealed the story of Minato but also answered many questions that were left undiscovered in the original anime and manga series Naruto. One of the questions that was answered is if Minato is stronger than prime Hashirama Senju.

When Minato was training for his Rasengan and Kushina approached him, having slipped beyond the barrier that kept her seal in control, the beast instantly began taking over her body, leaving Minato seriously damaged. While Kurama attempted to shatter the seal, Minato reinforced it with his own. This forced Kurama to confront the fact that Minato is a Shinobi of the same caliber as the First Hokage.
The First Hokage is revered as the God of Shinobi, and Minato is regarded as a Shinobi of the same caliber as the First Hokage. Furthermore, this comparison was made long before Minato achieved his pinnacle as a Shinobi.
