Speaking to The Times, Snoop Dogg recently admitted that he has nothing but love and respect for Trump and praised the 45th president of the United States for pardoning Michael Harris. Now, another rapper has seemingly waxed lyrical about the ever-so-controversial yet popular figure.
50 Cent Praises Donald Trump Ahead of 2024 Election
Mayor Adams’s administration plans to take $53 million and distribute it to city migrants on pre-paid credit cards, as per a report in the New York Post. Eric Adams, 63, was elected mayor of New York City in 2021.
The program, which will begin with 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays, will hand asylum seekers at the Roosevelt Hotel with hard cash.
50 Cent, who is also known as Curtis James Jackson III, took to Instagram to express his displeasure at the supposed plan by posting a screenshot of the outlet’s report. The caption of his post read:
“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works [emoji] somebody explain. @arimelber can’t explain this I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer.”
Such public backing from 50 Cent, who’s one of the most respected rappers of all time, will certainly be appreciated by Donald Trump‘s well-wishers.
Interestingly, in October 2020, the In da Club singer suggested he’s planning to support Trump for the 2020 election amid fears that a Joe Biden administration would mean paying higher taxes. The 48-year-old singer turned entrepreneur boasts a net worth of $40 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.
After criticism from several fans and his ex Chelsea Handler, 50 Cent took a U-turn, clarifying he never liked Trump. That’s certainly one way to confuse your whole fanbase!
What Dwayne Johnson Said About Donald Trump
Dwayne Johnson, another rapper (if you enjoyed his collaboration with Tech N9ne for Face Off), recently shared positive words for Trump, albeit in a very different context.
The 77-year-old attended Madison Square Garden in New York for UFC 295 in November of 2023. Last month, The Rock was appointed to the board of directors of TKO Group, the publicly traded company consisting of the UFC and WWE. Accordingly, he was asked about Trump during a Fox News interview.
“How about that ovation he gets when he comes out? – Trump, yeah!,” he remarked.
In the same interview, the People’s Champion revealed that he was approached by both parties, but declined their offer as he had no intentions of being part of the US presidential race.
