What Could the McDonald’s Anime Be About?

In the teaser that was shared on the official McDonald’s Twitter page, viewers are treated to a sort of isekai animation that immerses viewers in the expansive McDonald’s world complete with fries, burgers, and chicken nuggets. Additionally, it shows a fight between two unidentified individuals over French fries in a style reminiscent of anime.

Although this film seems to be a preview for a future McDonald’s commercial, there isn’t much evidence to back up that theory. In addition to multiple unique and dynamic shots that appear to not repeat frames, the video uploaded to McDonald’s social media accounts has four unique character designs.

The Japanese branch of the well-known fast food giant, McDonald’s, regularly uses the popular medium to sell its products, therefore it is no stranger to the world of anime. It has also been featured quite a lot of times in various other anime series though not by its traditional name.
