As the powers of the Multiverse come into the hands of the motormouth mercenary named Deadpool in the third film of the series of his namesake, several wild theories might become reality in the movie in the future.
But in recent times, there has been some development through an old Instagram post by the director of the upcoming film Shawn Levy that may have shed light on what to expect.
This Instagram post by the filmmaker quite some time back, shows both Ryan Reynolds as well as his MCU co-star Mark Ruffalo together while there are stickers of their respective Marvel characters in the frame as well. This has breathed new life into the theory that claims a variant of Hulk might make an appearance in Deadpool 3, which also means he will go toe to toe with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
A Variant Of Hulk Might Duke It Out With Wolverine In The Upcoming Deadpool 3
With the release of the upcoming Deadpool 3 trailer, fans have finally gotten a chance to glimpse at what the first-ever R-rated film in the MCU will look like, and so far, it doesn’t seem like the essence of the series has been dulled in any capacity.
What makes this film more exciting is the endless possibilities that Ryan Reynolds now has in his hands with the TVA by his side, so naturally, a theory has been popping up in recent times that might just be true looking at director Shawn Levy’s Instagram post from three years back.
This post is from 2021 during the filming of his then-upcoming The Adam Project, which has the Free Guy star in the frame along with Mark Ruffalo, iconic for playing the role of Bruce Banner and Hulk in the MCU while a sticker of their characters can be seen in it as well.
The caption underneath the image reads ‘The showdown we’ve been waiting for…’ Since it has resurfaced recently, many fans are almost sure that we can see Hulk, or a Multiversal version of him, in the upcoming Deadpool 3, which has been directed by Levy himself.

Along with this speculation, since it’s already been confirmed that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in the film, fans also theorize that both Hulk and the OG Mutant will duke it out one way or the other. Since both of these characters are known to be batsh*t violent when facing a potentially formidable foe, if they come face to face, then the film could get even more interesting.

Thus, with potential evidence supporting these claims, there is a high chance that what fans are hoping for turns out to be true.
What To Expect From Deadpool 3?
With the trailer out now, many fans are combing the entire video with a fine-toothed brush to squeeze as much information from it as possible, which has raised some very interesting speculations.
Apart from the Hulk vs Wolverine theory discussed above, there are signs of variants of Logan in the trailer as well, most notably, of a look-alike of the character wearing a white tuxedo, which fans claim to be Patch from the comics. Along with that, a lot of familiar faces from the TVA might also make an appearance while Reynolds’ character tries to save the Multiverse from overload and collapse.
