A few leaks revealed some things about the game, but there are no details on the release window.
However, it has seemingly changed now. PlayStation has released a preview trailer showcasing the games that players can look forward to playing this year, and one of the games listed is Metal Gear Solid Delta. Although the specific release date has not been mentioned, the game is scheduled to release in 2024.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Seemingly Launches in 2024
Hideo Kojima’s MGS3 is one of the most loved and acclaimed games in the popular franchise. The remake of the game, Metal Gear Solid Delta, has been coined as a faithful remake by Konami and is said to bring advanced gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Players have been waiting to hear more about the game, and now PlayStation seems to have confirmed that they will not need to wait much longer.
PlayStation released the 2-minute preview trailer on its official YouTube channel with the games that have been announced to release in 2024 on PlayStation 5, including Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and Helldivers II. However, near the end of the video, it also listed some games without a confirmed release date, including Metal Gear Solid Delta, hinting that the game might launch sometime in 2024.

There is also no other information about the game other than that it will feature some of the original voice cast, including David Hayter, and will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The release date of the remake Delta is exciting for players waiting for the game, and there are also reports that the developer is also working on the development of the first installment in the Metal Gear Solid series. The sources have claimed that the game is already in the early stages of production and will be the main focus after the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta, hopefully in 2024.
