However, things definitely did not go as planned because, just a day ahead of Activision’s showcase, gameplay footage showing the multiplayer in all its glory has found its way online.

As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 nears its November release, a higher number of leaks have started appearing online regarding different elements of the game. Just recently, the Modern Warfare 3 Collector’s Edition was revealed via an Amazon leak, which was preceded by multiple leaks about its predecessor, Modern Warfare 2.
Now, during the planned Call of Duty: NEXT 2023 event, Activision was planning on sharing further details and revealing new footage about its upcoming title, but fans did not even have to wait until then because they have already gotten their hands on various videos showcasing the game’s multiplayer gameplay.
This situation with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer gameplay leaking just a day before the official reveal is a testament to the impatience of the franchise’s fanbase. Call of Duty is undeniably one of the most well-known and popular first-person shooter series ever created, so it is natural that players just cannot wait any longer for new content to keep them occupied all the time. The franchise is impressively almost always on the top-selling list every single year.
Although Call of Duty games have not had the greatest track record with their explosive campaigns, the series owes its massive and consistent success to its amazingly great co-op modes and a multiplayer mode that brings together players from all across the globe. The high replay value that these modes have keeps bringing gamers back, whether they are fans of the old-school Call of Duty titles like Black Ops 2 or new ones like Warzone.

Modern Warfare 3 Seems Like It Follows Fan Feedback

More details are set to be officially revealed at Call of Duty: NEXT 2023, which is expected to give fans an extensive look at all the new features that will be added to the game while also showcasing live battles between pro players and Internet celebrities.
When considering how the multiplayer footage could have gotten leaked, one source that comes to mind is the game’s beta, to which some players already got access and started to share videos online.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer gameplay footage does not feature any real players because no one has the game yet, so it makes do with what is available and only shows empty lobbies and bots. The leaked gameplay also shows that the upcoming title will have much faster shooting and more agile movement. It also doesn’t seem to be focusing much on being realistic like the previous entries, and it feels like it throws it back to the good old arcade days.
Veteran fans also have another reason to get excited because iconic maps from the classic remastered Modern Warfare (2009) are also returning.
