As usual, Call of Duty maintains the highest standards for gameplay mechanics, and players can expect the weapons to feel unique based on their type and quality.

Players Can Customize Weapons to Switch up Their Experience

Earning new skins and progressing through weapon mastery have been updated in the game.
Earning new skins and progressing through weapon mastery have been updated in the game.

According to the official blog, you can find out how players will be able to complete different challenges and multiplayer objectives that unlock new weapon camos. These challenges are divided into different types: Daily, Career, Weekly, and Armory Unlock challenges.

Some of these challenges change with time, and the website elaborates on them:

Every week during the Pre-Season, and during each Season, a new set of Challenges become available. At launch, expect there to be seven Multiplayer and seven Zombies Weekly Challenges available every week. Expect something similar when Warzone launches with Season 1

However, this is just one way to get new cosmetics and items. Another way is to grind multiplayer matches in order to earn impressive camo sets.

Prepare for a ramped-up Weapon Camo Mastery that integrates your legacy weaponry from Modern Warfare II and adds an impressive Camo grind for Multiplayer and a customized Zombies camo grind catering to the true masters of the completionist Camo craft!

As you climb the ranks and get better with specific weapons, you will earn unique camo options for your guns that not only show off your skills but also serve as a memory of how deadly you’ve been on the battlefield against other players.

The option to unlock new customizations isn’t limited to the classic multiplayer mode but also the re-introduced Zombies mode. Furthermore, Modern Warfare 3’s detailed loadout system ensures that players have everything they need before entering the match. They can expect to suit up using Perks, Vests, Boots, Gloves and other gear. The loadout also includes Lethals, Field Upgrades, Tacticals, and Killstreaks, among other options.

Activision writes in detail about the primary and secondary weapon options in the game, telling us about the weapons that are scheduled for launch. These include Aftermarket Parts and weapon balancing.

Along with new (and old) weapons coming to Modern Warfare 3, the way players equip and customize their desired weapons has been improved too. The Gunsmith and other aspects of the game add to its quality of life upgrades, and there’s a lot more to look forward to with the newest entry to the Call of Duty series.
