Being a game of the next generation of consoles, Starfield is a pretty heavy game that requires an Xbox Series X or a pretty beefed-up gaming computer to truly enjoy. Well, since both of them are quite costly, AMD and Bethesda are giving away some pretty powerful PC hardware completely free for people to add to their gaming systems.

AMD And Bethesda Are Giving Away GPUs To Play Starfield!

Well, the hype for the upcoming AAA video game is indeed real ever since it was announced that the game will be an Xbox exclusive. With Microsoft buying Bethesda Studio’s parent company Zenimax Media, Starfield found quite the fame for being a magnum opus of Bethesda Studios.

Since the game is pretty heavy in graphics as well as file size, Starfield has partnered with AMD to create some GPUs that will be able to run the game at a smooth 4K 120 FPS. Not everyone can buy the latest GPUs and the CPUs to power up Starfield so AMD and Bethesda Studios came up with a solution.

From the official account of AMD, it was announced that the semiconductor company will be giving away 500 free Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPUs to 500 lucky people! Alongside this, AMD will also be giving away 500 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processors to accompany the GPU. The GPUs and CPUs will also have officially licensed branding and will be custom-built and not available for sale. Although the giveaway details haven’t been revealed yet, fans are already ecstatic about the free hardware and the release of the video game.

It seems that Microsoft Corporation is way ahead of its fans since the $1 deal will not essentially work now (unless you’re a really crazy gamer). The Xbox Game Pass (which included Starfield) was available for trial for 30 days for the price of $1.

This essentially means that one could pay $1 and finish AAA video games during those said thirty days. Well, Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox Game Pass service has been cut down to 14 days instead of its normal 30 days ahead of the release of the AAA video game. This means that players will have 16 fewer days to finish Starfield which is an already massive game in itself.

The game is set for a release date of 6th September 2023 and is currently available to pre-order around the world. Being an Xbox exclusive, Starfield will only be playable on Xbox Series X/S or Microsoft Windows (PCs).
