In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Foxx was talking about the past with the host when he also remembered the time he met the Under The Influence singer at a party he hosted in Miami in 2005. He remembers him because the then-upcoming star was dancing pretty well, and he being a great dancer himself, decided to challenge the upstart. The Amazing Spider-Man star remembered that both of them were going at it, when suddenly, Brown decided to end the competition by doing a mid-air backflip. Foxx said:

“So I go down there now, and you know, it’s sorta my time, and so everybody is following me, I’m going to go battle whoever this kid is. So I said ‘Yeah bro! you think you can dance, huh?’ I did some kind of bullsh*t kind of move. We’re all jammed together, right? He doesn’t do a move, you know what he does? He does a backflip! But the way he did the backflip, and he’s 6’2. He’s standing in the middle of the crowd, he jumped over the crowd, did the backflip up here and came straight down and said what’s up. I said ‘Motherf*cker I am gonna leave you the f*ck alone, that’s some Avengers shit.'”

Just goes to show that sometimes, when you least expect it, the world has its ways to surprise you beyond imagination.
