Jensen Ackles went from driving an Impala and killing monsters to holding a shield and becoming a father to one of the most questioned villains. His journey from Dean Winchester to Soldier Boy has been interesting as he jumped straight from working on Supernatural to The Boys. He did various other roles and that includes voicing Batman in Batman: Under the Red Hood as well as both parts of Batman: The Long Halloween.
While it is unknown as to who would be taking over as the DC Universe’s Batman, one actor who has always been amongst the top choices for the role has been Ackles. James Gunn has currently been rebooting the franchise and in the process, he has been recasting multiple roles including that of Superman.
Jensen Ackles Gets Support To Become The DCU’s Batman
The future of the DCU has been changing with actors being recast from their roles and movies being canceled. The question of who would be playing the franchise’s Batman had often been risen and the top choice for multiple fans is none other than Jensen Ackles. An artist even brought this concept to life by creating a rather mesmerizing image of the actor in the role.
The actor even dressed up as Batman one Halloween, proving just how perfect he would be for the role. Fans too have been more than keen to see this fan cast to become a reality as Ackles himself is more than ready to take up the role. He already has been voicing the character and acing it at that.
“Let’s be clear about that. I have gotten to do the voice, why not get to play the Bat?” Jensen Ackles said. “Maybe someone at Gotham Knights can put in a good word for me if that role ever comes up.”
He hinted at Misha Collins, who is a cast member of the series, to even propose the idea of him taking up the role. Furthermore, fans are more than excited to perhaps one day see Jensen Ackles become the Caped Crusader.

James Gunn is still on the lookout for a new Batman and fans have been insisting on Ackles taking up the role.
