MrBeast’s Squid Game-based video cost $3.5 million

The Netflix show Squid Game provided hours of social experimentation which offered visual entertainment to the viewers. The YouTuber MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, released his own video based on the game, called $456,000 Squid Game in Real Life. The option to view the game in series for real was too good to miss out. The video was made to get a massive response from the viewers and it did work out. The video garnered a mind-blowing 125 million views.

Attaining such a number is almost unbelievable until you actually see it happen. However, obtaining these high numbers definitely comes at a cost. As per reports, the YouTuber spend almost $3.5 million on the Squid Game experience. As per Hubspot, he received an estimates higher-end CPM earnings between $7 – $10, per 1000 views. Hence, according to calculations, he earned between $875,000 and $1.25 million from ad content. There were also paid promotions and sponsorships.

Will Smith’s fateful Oscar slap video became highest watched video in 24 hours

The slap incident has officially become the most infamous incident in the Academy Awards history. The video of Will Smith slapping the event host on the stage of 2022’s Oscar event spread like wildfire. It was all over social media and media channels. People were taking sides over who they thought was right. The incident occurred when comedian Chris Rock made fun of Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, for her health condition, due to which she had cut off her hair.

The audience was left shocked and confused.

In an interview, MrBeast revealed that the video received 48.2 million views in the first 24 hours. Before the video, it was his Squid Game video, which had the highest number of views ever in 24 hours.
