I love watches, this watch is Girard-Perregaux. Watches have always been part of my life. I bought it when I was in New York doing Laws of Attraction with Julianne Moore. I bought it, I came out of the store, my knees were shaking, how much money I’d just dropped.
Brosnan wanted to add the particular watch to his collection and spent big bucks to own it. In the interview, he further talks about how his wife bought Blancpain, Cartier, and Tag Hauer watches for him. One surprising anecdote was that the Montblanc watch that Dr. Fate wears in Black Adam was also a gift from his wife. The James Bond star revealed that Caan was in his wheelchair and needed his oxygen tanks frequently while filming, However, he was still excited to be in front of the camera and gave it his all. Brosnan will always cherish his time with the late actor. He said,
It was really beautiful. It was something that I will always cherish because Jimmy knew and I knew and we knew that the battle was on the doorstep. But he was still Jimmy Caan. He was still Sonny. He was still the vibrant player and had a wicked sense of humor. The man was just right in the moment of each day and loved being an actor.
Caan played mob boss Stan Mullen and Brosnan’s hitman character shares a lot of scenes with him. The late actor gave a great performance in his swansong role.
