“He just sat. And I knew from a very young age that he was a ghost, too.”

He continued that he told his mother about him but she didn’t believe him at first since no one ever witnessed him.

“He scared me. I told my mother, but she couldn’t see him. Nobody could. And I learned to live with that. I had to.”

However, it didn’t take long for his family to realize that the La La Land actor was telling the truth. He shared,

“Then, a few years later, [my mother] thought she saw him, then almost right away my cousin saw him, and then my uncle. And we were outta there in fairly short order.”

Eventually, the family moved out of that spooky place. While this bizarre story surely would have chilled down your spine, he claims not to believe in supernatural entities. But he once shared his interest in selling his soul to become a bounty hunter (kidding, but you got us!)

Show host, Josh Horowitz stated,

“But this morning Ryan reached out to me to say there is one superhero he wants to play…GHOST RIDER.”

The Ghost Rider series was led by Nicolas Cage who played Johnny Blaze. This character was revived for an appearance in Agents of SHIELD.

Shortly after those remarks, Marvel President, Kevin Feige told MTV News,

 “Ryan’s amazing. I’d love to find him a place in the MCU. He dresses up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than any major movie coming out.”

While there are only speculations at this point, it won’t be long for Gosling to get on the MCU train, and who knows he might get the role he wants. He is set to appear in the upcoming film, Barbie which will be released on July 21, 2023.
