One such complaint was posted by a player on the game’s official subreddit recently, and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible if the game team wants to prevent any decline in player retention. The complaint was regarding the difficulty of bots in the game.

Naraka: Bladepoint‘s recent season updates were very promising, and the game felt like the most innovative battle royale game to come out in a long time. But then the game’s inevitable decline began, and fans started expressing why they felt it was not rewarding anymore.

Naraka: Bladepoint Player Complains About Bots Being Impossible to Play Against

Naraka: Bladepoint is a game that went free-to-play in the past, and ever since, fans have voiced that the developers have turned a deaf year to the game’s issues. Fans even suspected some shady business regarding loot boxes and random rewards under the hood.

Now, a much more central complaint about the gameplay has come up, and players are complaining about the bots that now plague the game’s servers:

It is natural for a game now experiencing a decline in player retention to have bots fill up lobbies instead of players, but it seems like the game needs massive gameplay rebalancing changes. That is because, while filling up Naraka: Bladepoint‘s lobby with bots isn’t a problem, overpowered bots certainly are.

Naraka: Bladepoint’s Bots Aren’t Something Players Have Started Complaining About Recently

The game's ship seems to be sinking, and something needs to be done soon.

The game has had plenty of issues, and the developers have been trying to release patches and seasonal updates to counter that. But the problem with the game’s bots hasn’t been fixed till now. This is even more so because the player base decline has only started recently.

For example, one can find posts on the game’s subreddit regarding Bots being impossible to play against, which are anywhere from a couple of months to a year old:

NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment seem to have to ensure that the game is in a much better state and make some radical changes. The Battle Royale video game genre is already competitive enough with enough titles to choose from, and while they aren’t as melee and combat-focused as Naraka: Bladepoint, not many of them suffer from hardbot problems.

While the game is designed to reward competitiveness and the typical grind associated with multiplayer games, the game’s difficulty should be based on the players and not bots. The game could go further down the ranks if this continues, as it is not meant to be a title by Hidetaka Miyazaki taking gazillion attempts to beat randomized bots.
