Kevin Spacey’s whole world turned upside down when he was accused multiple times of s*xual assault and related crimes by multiple men in 2017. From being one of the top actors in Hollywood starring in a fan-favorite role of Frank Underwood in Netflix’s House of Cards, Spacey turned into an alleged s*xual predator, the effects of which are still felt even though he has been cleared of all charges.
While at one point he was among the richest actors, earning tens of millions each year, his net worth has since been reduced to over $30 million as per Celebrity Net Worth. While he lost much of it fighting his numerous s*xual abuse lawsuits, he had to give up an amount equal to his current net worth to Netflix after they sued him for damages.

His firing allegedly cost Netflix over $39 million in loss over certain unreleased content.
While the streaming giant did not confirm what were these unreleased content and whether it had anything to do with Spacey, it was alleged that it probably was related to the actor (via Variety). Furthermore, MRC, the independent studio behind some of Netflix’s content, soon sued the actor for damages following his allegations and for violating the company’s s*xual harassment policy.
This lawsuit resulted in the House of Cards actor paying over $31 million in damages to MRC, consisting of over $29.5 million for damages and the remainder to cover the company’s legal costs and fees (via Deadline). Meanwhile, Kevin Spacey Claims Netflix Exists Because Of Him
Kevin Spacey, ever since his numerous s*xual abuse allegations, has followed a bizarre Christmas tradition of making videos of him as Frank Underwood. Following a two-year hiatus, the actor yet again dropped the video, this time titled Being Frank With Tucker.
While talking to ousted Fox News host Tucker Carlson, the actor remarked,
“It is bizarre that they decided to publicly cut ties with me on allegations alone – allegations that have now been proven false. Because I don’t think there’s any question Netflix exists because of me. I put them on the map, and they tried to put me in the ground.”
He even made claims that the famous Netflix opening sound ‘tu-dum’ was his creation, referring to his character tapping his desk twice in the finale of House of Cards Season 2. While the internet seems to be shocked by his bizarre video and claims, the actor is slowly trying to make his way back to his acting career.
