And it seems his dream has come true in a new fan-made trailer of the upcoming DC movie, Brave and the Bold. A popular choice of DC fans for many years, the actor has voiced the Dark Knight numerous times in various projects.
Previously rumored to be Batman in the upcoming movie Brave and the Bold, fans just cannot seem to have enough of the actor and want him to star in the DC role. And so, a recent fan-made trailer for the movie shows the actor as Batman after Ben Affleck’s exit, and it cannot get more perfect than this!
Fan-Made Trailer Makes Jensen Ackles Batman!
For years ever since the hit Supernatural ended, fans have wanted Jensen Ackles to play Batman after voicing the character multiple times in various movies and TV shows. Having recently voiced the character in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earth- Part One, he was rumored to be the cast in James Gunn‘s Brave and the Bold, until the DC helmer himself denied it (see GameRant).
After the actor showed his interest in the role and project (see Deadline), fans’ penchant for having the Ackles star as the live-action Batman has only increased. And so a fan-made trailer by KH Studio is going viral on the internet, featuring Ackles as Batman. Using footage and dialogues from numerous TV shows and movies, including Supernatural, Titans, The Boys, and even The Dark Knight Rises by incorporating Alfred’s voice, the trailer is a masterpiece and too good to not be true.
Also featuring Timothée Chalamet as the Boy Wonder, it adapted the famous A Death in the Family storyline by Jim Starlin. With more than 783K+ views, the fan-made trailer has become popular among the fans of Supernatural, DC, and Ackles, who cannot believe how good the actor would look as Batman after voicing him numerous times.
Since The Brave and the Bold is still in development and lacking casting, maybe Gunn should listen to the fans’ voices and finally hand over the mantle to Ackles.
