Filip Pierściński, Lead Scene Programmer CD Projekt Red S.A, recently took to his social networking account to list down the recommended hardware setup for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077‘s DLC, Phantom Liberty. He went on to clarify that gamers best prepare their desktops before they try the new DLC to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.

His post concerned gamers on whether or not their hardware might support the DLC. Pierściński responded to most of those who commented and clarified himself and also released the official system requirements.

Pierściński clarified that gamers must ensure the cooling systems in their rigs are checked regularly. Running the game on a traditional HDD or with less than recommended memory and an old GPU might just stress the processor beyond repair. He ensured that the new updates were expected to perform perfectly fine on the recommended hardware.
