Which Character Taylor Swift Might Be Playing in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3?

Until now, most of the headlines concerning Deadpool 3 have been about the linkup between Ryan Reynolds‘ Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman’s Logan – be it due to their costumes (Jackman is suiting up in Wolverine’s classic yellow costume) or their leaked images from the set.

Even the movie’s synopsis suggests that the focus will be on Wolverine, who’s recovering from his injuries, crossing paths with the loudmouth Deadpool. However, lately, the potential entry of a new character and a superstar has started to attract the attention of fans and the media alike.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Lady Deadpool will be in the Shawn Levy-directed film. The Marvel Comics character is the Merc With a Mouth’s female counterpart from the alternate reality Earth-3010. She’s also known as Wanda Wilson. It’s understood that Lady Deadpool will “look exactly like she does in the comics.”

Taylor Swift, who wore Reynolds’ actual movie suit for Halloween, is also expected to be part of the project, but Richtman added she will not be playing Miss Wilson. The Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour star has been previously linked with portraying Alison Blaire/Dazzler in the movie.

Regardless of the role Swift portrays, her appearance in the movie will be enough on its own to give it a huge boost at the box office.

But for now, the only confirmed cameo appearance is that of Wade Wilson Variant, Dogpool. The character’s first look was shared through his very own Instagram account with the caption “Looks like avocado. Tastes like dog shit.”

Dogpool can be seen licking the face of Wade, who appears disgusted by the dog’s affection – hinting at the kind of hilarious dynamic fans would get to see in the first half of 2024.
