Batman: Arkham Shadow is set to come to Meta Quest 3 in the last quarter of 2024 and gives Batman fans hope to enjoy their favorite superhero again instead of the truly indiscernible way in which they saw the caped crusader being killed in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The terrible treatment meted out to the World’s Greatest Detective in the latest Suicide Squad game had left a sour taste for most fans as they saw him being capped by Harley Quinn like she would do to some common thug. The only downside to the upcoming game? It will be exclusive to Meta Quest 3.

The Summer Game Fest of 2024 promises to be the platform for many games to catapult to fame. One of the games that fans are raring to get a glimpse of is Batman: Arkham Shadow. Geoff Keighley announced previously that the event would start on June 7th, 2024.

While a lot of eyes would be on the future of Starfield as it has the potential to end the ‘console war’ for good, the Caped Crusader’s return is easily one of the most sought-after games in the SGF. This is going to be the second tryst of the superhero in VR after Batman: Arkham VR.

Developed by Camoflaj for Warner Bros, this is the third Arkham title to be developed by someone else other than Rocksteady. By the looks of it, the Ratcatcher can play the role of one of the main antagonists in the game, if not the primary antagonist.

Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice behind the Arkham Batman, had passed away so, there are some big boots to fill. And fans already are guessing who they think will be voicing the Dark Knight in the upcoming game.

What To Expect From the New Title

The scenic beauty of Gotham hides a terrible rat infestation in the trailer.

With Kevin Conroy gone and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League absolutely butchering the Dark Knight, it would be interesting to see how the new game pans out. Fans would be hoping that it would return to its basics after the superhero’s ill-fated appearance in the latest Suicide Squad game.

The game looks to be set between the timelines of Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum, although concrete news will only be available after the studio releases more information. Rober Craig Smith, who voiced a younger Bruce Wayne, maybe up for voicing the role, although fans are concerned regarding whether he would make a good fit.

But, he had voiced the older version of Sonic the Hedgehog in the game Sonic Frontiers. So, he can voice older characters. Now whether he would do a good job with the caped crusader is up for debate.

I travel. I game. I write. In no strict order.

The single biggest lie told all around is, "It isn't that simple." It is simple, everything is. And that is what I emulate in my writing. No unnecessary jargons and no flamboyant flourish. Just what's needed to get your imagination going. After all mind has no limit, unlike the written word.
