Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most spectacular games of the last few years and one of the best role-playing games ever. Larian Studios, creators of the Divinity Saga, went above and beyond to make the Baldur’s Gate 3 experience almost perfect.
The title won the GOTY award last year, and it was not an easy one, competing with games like Alan Wake 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. To make this game even more perfect, Nicolas Cage is apparently in the game as well, in a very perfect and funny way.
Baldur’s Gate 3 and Nicolas Cage Feels Like It Could be a Match Made in Heaven
One of the most popular memes on the internet is anything that relates to the great American actor Nicolas Cage. Baldur’s Gate 3 was also “affected” by this trend, in which several of the many characters of the game were converted into a Cage meme. This particular picture, posted by X’s user, Old DeuTaranomy, went very viral. Many popular videogame-related people replied with the inclusion of the developers of the game, Larian Studios.

The original post message that accompanies the picture is “I saw this, so now you have to too”. The CM of Larian Studios replied, “Could you not”. This viral post became an avalanche of Nicolas Cage memes and GIFs that many users keep posting.
The picture shows Nicolas Cage impersonating various main characters in Baldur’s Gate 3. Photoshop or AI appears to have done it, but the original author has not appeared. By this time, the post in X has almost a million interactions, so this could mean a lot of new possibilities for the game.
Some of This Work is Flawless
Some of these Nicolas Cage versions of the characters are, in fact, incredible, with such uncanny resemblances that they almost look like they were made in game with the character customization system. It’s always funny when a new Nicolas Cage meme reaches a new IP, in this case Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian Studios could take advantage of this viral meme and ask Nicolas Cage for collaboration on the game.
The popular actor has recently participated in a new DLC character for Dead by Daylight. This Nicolas Cage skin is a survivor who will have to face the different killers in the game to escape and live another day. The actor was launched as a character in Dead by Daylight in July of last year. The perks of the Nicolas Cage DLC were very meta and meme-related; that was a great move from part of the team behind the game.
