Nicole Kidman has teamed up with Jude Law before for the film Cold Mountain in 2003. Now, the two will star together again for a new movie that will deal presumably deal with passion and infidelity in the relationship of an old married couple.
Nicole Kidman And Jude Law Are Reuniting For New Film
World of Reel has exclusively revealed that A24 is developing a new film called Babygirl starring Jude Law and Nicole Kidman. Here’s what their report says:
“A24 will produce “Babygirl,” starring Nicole Kidman. The film is said to be an erotic thriller about a career woman in her 40s who ends up having an affair with a 21-year-old intern. The film is directed by Halina Reijn, who helmed last year’s A24 breakout ‘Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.’ No further plot or casting details were given.”
It’s rumored that Harris Dickinson will play the intern while Jude Law will portray Kidman’s husband. The film is reportedly shooting in August. Expectations are high from the project because of the director attached. Bodies, Bodies, Bodies was appreciated by everyone for being a mystery thriller that was also endlessly fun to watch while offering an insight into class politics and privilege.
The film grossed $14 million at the box office and received overwhelmingly positive reviews. As such, even though the plot of Babygirl sounds like a retread of every old infidelity trope, it will be interesting to see how Halina Reijn presents it.

It seems like the announcement for the new film flew under the radar. But the fans of Nicole Kidman and Jude Law who saw the news are incredibly excited. Many expressed their happiness at seeing their faves reunite onscreen after more than two decades. Nothing more about the film has been revealed as of now. But as the film nears shooting, more news might trickle in. Harris Dickinson was recently seen in acclaimed projects like Where the Crawdads Sing, Triangle of Sadness, The King’s Man, and more. He is a steadily rising star in Hollywood.
As for the veterans, Jude Law will be next seen in the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. There are rumors that he will appear in MCU’s The Marvels film as well. Nicole Kidman’s next projects include Aquaman 2, The Perfect Couple, and Lioness.
Babygirl doesn’t have a release date as of yet.
