In Season 2 of Loki, both Loki and Mobius see each other as friends who work together more on a personal level. Even fans are really liking the friendship between these two in the Disney+ series.
Fans even started to ship them as Lokius. The name is a non-binary ship between the characters given by the MCU fandom.
But they are now much more curious about the relationship between Loki and Mobius. They believe there may be a significant hidden secret about them in the show that hasn’t been revealed by Marvel yet.
Loki and Mobius’ Relationship Sparks Fan Panic, Marvel’s Secret Suspected
The primary love story of the show is centered around the titular character and another Loki variant, Sylvie. But in season 2 of Loki, some fans conclude that the real romance here is between Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson’s characters.
And now, they suspect that Marvel is hiding a big secret about Loki and Mobius’ connection in the show. Recently, a fan took to Twitter and posted (@ValenSchmidt23):
“Don is a single dad of two. A younger kid who is completely chaotic and gets into trouble and an older blond kid who loves snakes… Seems familiar to you????”
On this, another fan commented, “One of Mobius’s sons wanting a snake, Loki fixing his hair before talking to Mobius, of my God.” A fan commented on this post, “Wanting a snake and a dog… Loki’s children.”
Then another fan supported the statement by commenting, “Also this of my God!!!! This has to be on purpose there is no way it’s a coincidence.”

Fans have started to assume their own plots by considering the scenes, and the relationship Loki and Mobius have in the show. That’s the reason they think there’s something that Marvel is definitely hiding about the characters.
Tom Hiddleston on the Connection Between Loki and Mobius
During a conversation on Tumblr, Tom Hiddleston talked about the duo’s friendship and why he cherished it.
Referring to Season 1, the actor clarified why his character’s initial meeting with Mobius was so special. He asserted how Mobius managed to approach him with understanding and no judgment. The Marvel star concluded his thoughts and said:
“I think it’s really real. I think there’s a lot of love and care and affection there. It’s very sincere and presents something new for Loki. I don’t think he’s ever had a friend before. So yeah, I really loved it.”
Whether their relationship is romantic or platonic, there’s no denying that the love story between the God of Mischief and the TVA agent is the best in Loki.
