Being badass on the screen and off the screen are two very different things and not everyone has the personality or guts to do both. However, there are always exceptions and Harrison Ford might be the biggest one in this scenario. The legendary American actor will also go down in history definitely as one of the best interviewees the industry has ever seen.
Harrison Ford is always charismatic in interviews
Not a lot of actors can draw the attention of people both on and off the screen as well as Harrison Ford does. Ford is one of the most established actors in the industry and the Star Wars actor is always making headlines for one reason or another.
Last year, Harrison Ford reprised his role as the archeologist Indiana Jones for one last time in the movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and had to do a lot of interviews while promoting the movie. In almost all of these interviews, he said something so iconic that people would go on to remember it for ages.
In one of these interviews with KissFM UK, an interviewer told Harrison Ford that his father is a very big fan of his and the actor absolutely trolled the hell out of the interviewer and said,
“Do you know how many people come up to me and tell me that their dad is my biggest fan?! I don’t need you…so what are you? Just a conduit of information about your father? How much do you like me?!”
The Witness actor was definitely being sarcastic as ever and continued to answer the interviewer’s questions which his father had given him to ask the legendary actor.
Harrison Ford gave a badass reply to this interviewer who questioned his authority on the set
Harrison Ford once shared the screen with Rachel McAdams who was a rising actress at the time as they appeared in the comedy-drama movie, Morning Glory. On the red carpet event of the movie, Brad Blanks went on to ask the actor what he thought of working with McAdams.
Harrison Ford went on to praise Rachel McAdams for her work in the movie and even described her as an ‘incredibly talented young actress.’
Brad Blanks further went on to ask the actor a question that he soon would regret and Harrison Ford responded just in the way he would expect him to. Blanks asked, “Did she[Rachel McAdams] keep you in line?” to which the actor replied,
“Nobody keeps me in line man.“
Despite being an absolute menace on the microphone, Ford has revealed that he does not like doing interviews about his own movies. He feels that if he accidentally ends up talking too much about it, the fans would not be that excited to see it anymore, which definitely makes sense.
