Marvel star Chris Evans has regaled audiences with his portrayal of Captain America in the MCU films. Having starred in the lead role in 3 solo films based on the superhero, Evans went on to become an important part of the Avengers franchise which made huge money at the box office. When asked about which of the films in the MCU appealed to him the most, Evans chose 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier as his favorite among a few other films that were close to his heart.

“I did a movie called Sunshine a long time ago. That was really good, that I enjoyed, with Danny Boyle. And I really like Snowpiercer and look, I got a lot of love for the Marvel world, so Winter Soldier was something to me that I really was like, ‘Wow, that’s exactly how I wanted that to go.’ So, maybe Winter Soldier.”

In Sunshine, Evans plays an engineer working aboard a spaceship in near-future Earth where a team of astronauts attempts to jump-start the sun to save the planet from freezing.
