“There’s not a f**king chance in hell that this is funny or gonna. And when you see those flat corny Late Night monologue jokes with no audience, those are so f**king cringy.”

Rogan continues that most of the hosts are warmup guys who tend to read the jokes, written by the writer of the show, and they don’t make any effort in delivering the joke as they lack that quality.

“And you’re dealing with a lot of people that are not stand-up comics so they don’t even really truly understand how to deliver it right, like they don’t have the chops what they’re doing is just like reading off of a teleprompter.”

He adds that there are warm-up guys who are only “failed comedians” and that they’re only limited talk shows as most of these shows can’t survive in the long run. He mentions that only a handful of shows like “There’s Colbert, there’s Jimmy Kimmel, there’s Fallon.” Moreover, the audience is trained before and what we see on television is a training of the audience.

“There’s literally applause signs that flash to tell you when to applaud. They’re like explaining to the people when Jimmy comes out, I want a big round of applause. Let’s practise this right now. ‘Ladies and gentlemen Jimmy Fallon. Yaaaah. They practise it. They’ll train the audience.”

The host adds that every banter, question, and conversation that sees in the episode is scripted and practiced beforehand, and when he looks at the episodes, his eyes can not believe such “madness.”

“The banter was fake, their dialogue back and forth was scripted. So they were saying ‘So Andy, I understand you got married [speaking gibberish]’ and so they’re reading it, and I’m watching it and this is madness.”

The UFC commentator does not hold back when it comes to showing someone the reality, and he did not humble Kevin Feige by showing him the mirror.
