Characters like Batman or Superman may be superheroes, but they too have numerous vulnerabilities that can easily bring them to their knees. However, their fellow DC character Wonder Woman has no apparent weakness thanks to her being a demigod. While she has been bested several times in comics, it is not entirely to do with her ‘weakness’ as she has always bounced back stronger than ever.

Even Batman, who always has had a contingency plan for his fellow superheroes has failed several times to contain Wonder Woman. However, while the great Bruce Wayne may have failed, Superman once successfully managed to subdue the great Amazonian, which might be the most effective method.

Wonder Woman may not have apparent weaknesses or vulnerabilities like other characters, but she has been bested by her enemies several times (via CBR). However, her incredible powers and her being a demigod have always helped her to come back stronger than ever against any adversary.

While Bruce Wayne aka Batman has tried several times to defeat or trap his fellow superhero (via ScreenRant), he always has been unsuccessful, even when he tried using her culture and tradition as a form to trap her in the comic Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia.

However, the most effective tactic of defeating the Amazonian warrior has been shown by Superman. In Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #22 (via ScreenRant), when both the Dark Knight and Man of Steel are trapped in an alternate reality of Kingdom Come, they come face to face with Diana Prince.

Using his famous freezing breath, Superman froze Wonder Woman, instantly making her immobilized. Although it only stopped Wonder Woman for some time, it gave enough time for the two heroes to have their chances of survival increased.

Wonder Woman May Be Weakness-Less, But She Can Still Be Bested

Wonder Woman is a demigod which makes her immune to several weaknesses or vulnerabilities that her fellow superheroes might have. However, her human side still has several weaknesses, which makes her vulnerable to her enemies’ tactics.

Her being deeply sympathetic and compassionate makes her occasionally be exploited. She can also be seriously injured by firearms or weapons, although she can overcome them through her healing and master combat abilities. However, in case of absence of immediate medical assistance, she can be left critically injured.

Since her power was given to her by the Gods, they can be taken back leaving her powerless. Furthermore, her weapons like the Lasso of Truth can also be used against her. While she does have several vulnerabilities despite being devoid of most conventional weaknesses, the events of comics have proven time and again that Wonder Woman is one of the fiercest superheroes who is extremely difficult to defeat (via CBR and ScreenRant).
