However, Craig’s time as the Special Agent 007 is over, and many fans have wondered who will bag the iconic role. Due to Berry’s influence in the film, she was asked by Today, which actor is good enough to replace the Quantum of Solace actor in the spy franchise. The actress answered,

“I’d wanna see Hugh Jackman or Idris Elba. I would go for him.”

While opinion varies, Henry Cavill is strongly linked to the character as a major possibility, as he has definitely got the sharp looks and a physique that would greatly compliment the iconic character. Martin Campbell, the director of Casino Royale told Express, that Cavill’s age was the main concern that hindered him from bagging the role.

“He looked great in the audition. His acting was tremendous. And look, if Daniel didn’t exist Henry would have made an excellent Bond. He looked terrific, he was in great physical shape… very handsome, very chiselled. He just looked a little young at that time back then.”

Cavill is now 40 years old, the actor is at the age, where he fits the looks of a veteran agent, who can carry out secret missions with ease.
