And after finding out that his fellow bodybuilder Franco Columbu was a skilled bricklayer, he came up with a business plan.

The Terminator star registered a bricklaying business with his fellow bodybuilder. And they were able to make profits due to their marketing techniques and the increased demand. They advertised their business in Los Angeles Times as “European bricklayers and masonry experts.”

The pair also started charging wealthy Californians high prices, and the actor has also shared that they made plenty of money with this business. He slowly developed more ventures of his business and turned his attention to real estate, which made him a millionaire.

“I quickly developed and traded up my buildings and bought more apartment buildings and office buildings on Main Street down in Santa Monica and so on,” he shared, before adding, “I became a millionaire from my real estate investments.”

The actor was already a millionaire by the age of 25 years old.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Business Supported His Acting Career

He continued working in real estate as he tried to make a break in movies. His business ventures supported him financially before he gained a profitable role in Hollywood. “I was making money from real estate, and that gave me the power to wait for the roles I wanted,” The Predator star shared.

He also shared that this is the reason he never believed in people who advise others to quit their jobs and follow their passion.

“You need money, and if you quit your job, you’re going to have to make decisions you wouldn’t make otherwise in order to make money.”

He shared that found the role he had been waiting for in the action-adventure movie Conan the Barbarian.
