The Escape Plan actor, who initially received a modest salary of $35,000 for his role in the first Rocky movie, now earns in the range of $10-$20 million per film. The Demolition Man actor received a hefty paycheck of $16 million for each installment in The Expendables franchise.

With a fourth movie in production, the Creed actor has earned almost $48 million from The Expendables franchise as his salary alone. It accounts for nearly 10% of his net worth. The Cobra actor also received a share of the profits from these films as a producer. It is interesting to note that while The Expendables may be his highest-paying franchise, Stallone’s top-earning movies were Driven and Eye See You, each netting him $20 million for his role.

Despite a large number of successful movies to his name, the Get Carter actor’s highest-grossing film was his cameo appearance in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Stallone reportedly gave his salary back for the movie.

Sylvester Stallone’s first outing as John Rambo in First Blood earned him somewhere between $3.5 million to $7 million, according to different reports. The lower range of $3.5 million was reported by New York Times whereas The Richest reported his salary as $7 million. The actor himself has not publicly disclosed the truth about his First Blood salary.

By the time Rambo III was released in 1988, Stallone was at the peak of stardom and quadrupled (or doubled) his salary to a staggering $16 million, the same as his salary for The Expendables. The Assassins actor received the same $16 million for several of his other films, including Rocky V.
