Iñaki Godoy Thinks God D. Usopp is the Strongest Straw Hat Member

In an interview with GamesRadar+, Godoy talks about his experience while playing Luffy and how he felt about the series in general. But one of the biggest revelations that Godoy made was who he thinks was the strongest character among the straw hat pirates. Surprising the audience, Godoy answered that he feels like Usopp is the strongest character. He said:

“Oh, man. It’s gotta be God D. Usopp, man. It’s gotta be God D. Usopp. Oh yes; oh yeah. Sniper King, an army of more than 10,000 men. You know, he is the GOAT. He’s the GOAT. Easy question, man. Easy question. I thought you were gonna make something difficult. Easy.”

Usopp is one of the main characters of the series who was able to defeat some of the strongest characters in the series with his sniping skills. Although, most of them were coincidences and an attempt to save himself. He got the title of God and was able to gather an army of 10,000 men.

God D. Usopp’s Character in One Piece Anime and Manga

“God” Usopp is the sniper for the Straw Hat Pirates. He becomes the fourth member of the team at the end of the Syrup Village Arc. Following the incident at Enies Lobby, he won a bounty of 30,000,000 Berries under his Sogeking Persona. Following the Dressrosa Arc, Usopp received a reward of 200,000,000 Berries under his name. Following the Raid on Onigashima, his bounty was raised to 500,000,000 Berries. Usopp was the one who torched the World Government flag and blocked Spandam from bringing Robin across the Bridge of Hesitation with his sniping at Enies Lobby. Usopp became known as ‘God’ Usopp in Dressrosa after knocking out Sugar and revealing Doflamingo’s real character to Dressrosa.

Although it is kind of a comedic element of the series, Usopp does have a goal to become a brave warrior of the Sea, and even though most of his wins were coincidences and cowardice, he does manage to come out strong every time.
