In a recent interview with Collider, actress Michelle Monaghan recalled the time she had to skip her honeymoon after getting married to graphic artist Peter White because of her commitment to Mission: Impossible III (2006). The actress revealed that her husband was unbothered by the fact that she filmed an intimate scene with actor Tom Cruise on their honeymoon,

“[He] was like, ‘Don’t worry, you’re gonna follow his lead. You’re gonna have a great time. It’s going to be wonderful – I was like, ‘Oh my God, it was amazing. He was so nice. It was great’ and [my husband] goes, ‘How cool is it that you were making out with Tom Cruise on our honeymoon?’ Because we’re just such fans.”

Monaghan was joined by her The Family Plan (2023) co-star Mark Wahlberg, who asked if her husband was jealous, she simply replied that her husband was proud of it and was totally supportive.

Further in the interview, Monaghan explained that working in 2006’s Mission: Impossible III was a huge opportunity for her. It indeed was the turning point in her career as it created bigger opportunities for her in the industry. The actress said,

“I worked hard to get that role, and it was just one of those things. We just got married and really discovered our careers in New York together, and so that was really special.”
